The South Hill Investment Club (SHIC) was formed in November 1996 by a group of eager but inexperienced individuals. The aims of the club are to have fun by buying & selling shares on the UK stockmarket, being successful, increasing knowledge and awareness and holding various social activities. To date we have succeeded in most areas! We are members of the Pro Share Investors Club and we have 20 members. Share tips are obtained from a variety of sources and a sub committee decides which shares the club should consider buying.
